Timeline
01 · Intro

Marie Claire Paris Salon, Kothanur — Beauty. Paid Media & Account Executor, working across Instagram · Meta Ads · Google Ads.

02 · Challenge

A standard monthly content calendar wasn't differentiated and wasn't tied to anything the business actually sold.

03 · Objective

Build a content system that felt distinct from generic salon content, while running paid media that could show whether ads were bringing in the right people, not just more people.

04 · Audience

Salon clients in Kothanur, Bangalore, engaged through content that felt personal and specific rather than promotional.

05 · Thinking

A post calendar is only as good as what it's built around — pulling real pricing from the salon's own booking platform, and giving every post a clear creative purpose, made the content feel like it belonged to this specific salon rather than any salon.

06 · Strategy

Rebuilt the monthly calendar around six named content series — Hair Explained, The Transformation, Ask Our Stylist, Which One Are You, Behind The Chair, Your Next Look — each with a distinct purpose across education, engagement and booking.

07 · Execution
  • Built full monthly content calendars (15 posts a month) with poster copy, captions and hashtags.
  • Wrote full shot-by-shot reel and post breakdowns for the production team.
  • Ran Meta Ads directly and monitored Google Ads.
  • Owned audience and offer positioning, plus campaign optimization.
  • Reported on leads generated and how many actually converted — not just lead count.
08 · Evidence

09 · Impact
  • Tracking lead-to-conversion, not just lead count, gave the salon a read on whether the ads were bringing in the right people rather than simply more people.
  • The six-series system replaced a generic, undifferentiated calendar with content built around what the salon actually offers.
10 · What I learned

Content differentiation comes from structure and real business data, not just volume.
